I write small pieces of code and enjoy exploring the subtleties of the systems and technologies beneath them. I spend most of my day in a PTY; often a few of them. Grateful to Bram Moolenaar for giving us Vim and making our lives far less painful.

This site is where I work out what I actually think. Most of it is about tech, science and the art of doing unglamorous work for a long time. Some of it is personal.
